Hi all,
I’m replacing the exterior vinyl trim on my 2017 R-pod 178, which should be fine..my issue is I have the Tule awning that mounts to the top and actually covers the trim for maybe 5-6 feet. I’m thinking I need to remove it to perform this task. And that sounds terrible when I say it. My main concern is cutting through waterproofing, removing the awning and then installing and re-sealing it when I’m done. Any suggestions? hopefully someone has had to deal with this situation as well.
Thank you for any input.
Fin

Just run the end of the trim in as far as you can. You don't need to run the new vinyl all the way. The Thule frame is already protecting the screws back in there. If you want, then take a piece of foam (pool noodle works great), and stuff it in there to seal the opening to keep bugs out.

I just did the same replacement and overlapped the trim over the existing trim from under the awning by about an inch.  I them used dicor to cover the overlap and seal it up.

I had to replace mine also. I cut the old trim off just before the awning on both sides.(left the old under the awning) I then installed new trim from bottom on both ends and slid it up under the old trim a little ways under the awning.
