Shower hot water faucet blew off when I turned on the pump. I can't figure out how to get the rubber and spring back in place. Won't shut off. Any help?

New faucets are not very expensive. Replacing it may give you a more satisfactory result than trying to fix it only to have it happen again because it's probably worn out.
