I am having a water pressure issue in our 195.  When I turn on the kitchen faucet, the water stream is normal but rapidly fades to just over a trickle.  I am hooked to city water at the RV park and the pressure is adequate for using the black water flush (although it is with a different hose than the one used for water).  The water set-up is: hose is connected to pressure control valve which is connected to a blue in-line filter and finally to the camper.

The first time I noticed the problem I though it might be the blue filter so I changed it.  There appeared to be some amorphous fibers and other stuff in the screen mesh on the water filter.  But the problem is back.  I checked for material that might be clogging the filter but couldn't see any.

I'm at a loss for what to try next.  Any ideas??

How long have you been using the blue filter? They are only good for so many gallons. If it has been in use over 3 months old, you may wish to replace it.

If you disconnect the filter and just have water go through the pressure control valve, does the water stream stay steady or fade? If it fades, it might be the valve that is bad.

Have you inspected the screen at the exit point of your faucet?  There could be some loose crud that is causing and or magnifying the problem.

It was the water pressure valve.  There was a modicum of loose crud in the aerator screen but that was probably just magnifying the problem.
