I'm at a site running off the world's loudest generator and using my fresh tank for water.  When the pump runs, it pulses every few seconds.  In the last 2 days, the lights flicker when the pump STOPS.  My battery is about a year old and the panel reports it "Full".  I replaced the pump, with the identical pump about 2 years ago because the check valve leaked.

These are all 12V systems.  Where should I look first?

If you are connected to power when the "panel reports it full", the panel is showing only indicating that the battery is charging. What is the voltage when it is not connected to power (or the generator)?

Purchase a voltmeter or multi tester.  They are relatively inexpensive; the one I have was $ 4 at HF.  Your description would indicate a battery that may be at the point of recharge.  A fully charged battery at rest will read 12.72 volts (assuming it is a single 12v battery).  Do not draw down below 60% S.O.C. or 12.2v for maximum battery life before recharging.  Also verify that the connections at the battery are tight using a wrench.  I have seen where individuals will go 'finger tight' at the connection on the battery and will experience the same light problem you describe.

Feel too poorly to unbox and check the battery. Generator died and it quit. Still don't understand that.
