Symptom:
Motor is running and sounding good but no movement.

What I found:
Open the two panels under kitchen.
Two bolts holding the MOTOR-AXIS-GEAR set are off.
The gear on MOTOR-AXIS-GEAR set and the gear rack on the body of slideout are not engaged.

Solution:
Find the bolts on the floor.
Put the MOTOR-AXIS-GEAR in position and make sure the gear and gear rack are engaged well.
put on and tighten the bolts.

I found the mechanism of rPod RVs is very simple. There is no any sensors, detectors and control circuit. Therefore, when you sliding in or out, release the button immediately once you hear the sound of clicking.

What year and model is this? I think the newer Rpods have access from the outside.

Thank you for posting this.  We have owned our 177 for almost 11 years and the slide mechanism has always worked flawlessly but in the future who knows?  I will check this out on ours tomorrow and see if our set up is similar, I am betting it is.

I would try to get a new pinion gear before those broken teeth destroy the gear rack.
