What is the best way to winterize batteries when you have solar panels of your R-pod?

If the rpod is parked in the sun you don't have to do anything.

Just leave your solar power system charging and be sure all your 12vdc loads are turned off. For flooded batteries check battery water levels about once a month until you know how fast the water is disappearing.

Depending on how big your PV array is, the most you'd need to do is add a battery disconnect to kill the "dark current" and park in the sun.
