Hello all, still enjoying my rpod.

I wish to replace my tv with something i can stream to with my phone or dvd player. Do i get a smart tv with a roku stick or built in stick? I would like it to have rca , hdmi, usb ports. All this new tech has really got me fumbled and when i ask google all i get is sales.

Also, if I may, ask for one that is 12 v compat for my van or better to install a invertor?  My van is a conversion and the tv that is in it is old and useless really.

TY you all for all your help with my camping questions over the years.

Get a dual voltage 12V/120V TV. Much simpler and more efficient than running an inverter. The dual voltage TVs will automatically switch to 120Vac if available and you leave both plugged in.

As for streaming, there are several ways to do it. I just use an HDMI adapter directly plugged into my phone with the HDMI connected to the TV, which avoids having to have another streaming box or smart TV to deal with. You could also use your phone as a wifi hotspot and one of the streaming boxes/sticks/smart TVs.
