While in a hurry with our string trimmer to trim weeds under camper tongue I accidentally tangled string trimmer with breakaway switch cable. The switch pin broke away in pieces so removed broken switch and have ordered a new switch. The pin is all that broke but instead of searching for just a pin decided to replace the switch. A lesson learned haste makes waste and a reminder to be more careful with our string trimmer around the camper. I decided to replace the old switch and leave most of the original wiring because the original wires looked to be to difficult to replace so cut the wires at the switch and will use butt connectors to rewire new switch. Will seal the butt connectors from moisture to prevent corrosion.
