Hi folks, I just found the greatest thing for cleaning that weird surface on our pod ceilings. Mine was dingy (I like to burn candles) and I was going to paint it. Doing YouTube "research" I found a prepaint cleaner called Krud Kutter. The ceiling looks so good I am not going to paint now. FYI there are several Krud Kutter products and I used the blue one market "prepaint cleaner." It's crazy expensive on Amazon but I bought it at Ace for $10.

I'd be shocked if it wouldn't work well on the walls too but I've not tried that.

Great tip!!! it would probably work for cooking residue, too.

I think that's its main point. It's intended so that you can paint over cabinets and whatnot
