Decided that when on shore power I needed a light switch to turn on as we enter the pod so I added a switch next to the door under the counter top, tapped into the existing outlet for power. I then added a line under the counter top and added a new outlet to the back of the counter and made one outlet switchable. This allowed me to connect a LED light strip. I placed the light strip into some aluminum channels that are designed for led lights. Wife did not like the dots of the LED glaring at her so we found at Lowes a PVC molding that we could attach with finishing nails (into the wood strip that hides the seam between the top and end wall) and construction adhesive that would hide the light strip. Could only find a way to "hide" the lights along the top but not on the sides (strange angle with the slope), still pondering...
