Hello everyone,

As a new member I thought an introduction would be appropriate.  I have just "downsized" from a luxury 40' DP to a rpod 180.  While I still have the itch to travel, going  "all-out" with the big Diesel was becoming a bit burdensome.  The rpod will be my fourth RV, having started years ago with a classic Airstream, downsized to a FR Micro-Lite, moved up to the aforementioned DP, and now this little gem.

I look forward to the transition, welcoming the versatility offered by a compact TT.  I don't anticipate the lengthy stays at RV parks that had become my habit,  and am looking forward to shorter stops in a wider variety of settings.

To quote an old sage, "How can you say you are getting away from it all - when you're taking everything with you?"

Anyway, thanks for allowing me to become a part of your group.  I hope to learn quickly and eventually contribute something as well.

Hi Mark and Talley.  Glad to have you aboard.  We have greatly benefited from this forum many times since joining in 2012 as there are a lot of experts out there who are well versed in the 'nuts and bolts' of these r-pods.  It is your 24/7 owners manual.

Welcome and congratulations. At one time, I wanted to get a 5th wheel or motor home. I am very happy that I skipped those and came directly to the RP-179 we have. I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories with your RPod.
