Has anyone used this? I think they around $100. If they work would save a lot of guess work.

I think this was discussed here:  http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=14343&KW=better+weigh&PID=139368&title=betterweigh-mobile-tongue-weight-and-payload-scale#139368 - http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=14343&KW=better+weigh&PID=139368&title=betterweigh-mobile-tongue-weight-and-payload-scale#139368

I have the Betterweigh and it is okay for tongue weight not so good for trailer weight or vehicle weight

Just use a public scale. Cheaper, easier, and guaranteed accurate as they are calibrated and verified. It’s not like you have to weigh your rig multiple times. Once you’ve measured it once fully loaded so you have a baseline you shouldn’t need to do it again unless you make a major change.
