2021 R-Pod !80 TV, 2019 F150 (Texas Edition) factory tow package (incl. brake controller) Any recommendations on a WDH?Sway system. Blue OX looks easy but $$ E2 cheaper or do I just need sway control ?

We have towed our 177 for 10 years with the following: 2011-2015  (1994 F-150, 2008 Ford Explorer)
                                                                                 2016-2018  (2013 Ford Explorer)
                                                                                          2019  (2011 Ford F-150)
                                                                                          2020  (2017 Ford F-150)
With 36,000+ miles driven we have used a simple $ 50 Curt anti-sway bar link on all the above and have felt comfortable with that under all sorts of driving and weather conditions.  Many others swear by the WDH systems.  This is what has worked for me.

deanj, I've used the Blue Ox for about 4 years and like it. It may be overkill for my Tundra and R-Pod 179, but it works well. It is expensive, but to me it has been worth it. I recently put a video together on it if you are interested. Let me know. ~PP

Towed RPod, 2015 178, for 6 years with a 2006 Silverado, a 2016 Colorado and lastly with a 2014 Silverado, never needed a WDH, have always had a friction sway bar.  +1 to JATO.

Thanks for the replies. After towing a 5ver with a F350 dually for a lot of years a bumper pull is new to me. I always commented on the TV with headlights pointing at the stars and wondering how they steered. Do not want to be one of those!

For what it is worth. I contacted Blue Ox regarding factory sway control on the F150. Leave on or turn off? They advise turning it off, as the 2 systems would be fighting one another.

We have an F-150 Nevada Edition - towing package with back up system, good fuel economy, and an auto-pilot to take us to the casinos, which I had to turn off since we don't gamble.  We use a Fastway e2 and couldn't be more satisfied.  It completely takes away the sag at the hitch and fully levels the truck and trailer.  Driving is easy and un-stressful even in nasty cross-winds and mountain passes.  It's quick to hook up the trailer and the initial installation is simple.  There are a lot of very good WDH's out there.  Probably, any one you get will work well.

+1 to Lostagain. We have a similar truck and the same WDH. Completely satisfied; towing could almost not be easier.
