Greetings -

Has anyone used the Garmin BC 30, 35 or 40 wireless back up camera?

We've been researching cameras and we already own a Garmin Drive Smart 55 so they would be compatible.

I have. I had one in a tow vehicle and sold a couple years ago. I think I had a 30, worked fine as a tow vehicle back up camera and as I recall I could have added an additional camera. When I sold vehicle I kept the Garmin RV GPS and let camera go with tow vehicle.

I bought the solar powered backup camera license plate and monitor at Costco to use on my R-pod 196. It sits a little low to the ground mounted left of the tire, but works for backing up and will also show me traffic behind me on the road. Cost was about $129 for comparison. The solar means I don't have to keep charging it or hardwire it to the R-pod.
