This is a question about why antifreeze.
I seen a great video of winterizing and Rpod. After watching I started wondering since you drain the water tank, remove the anode to drain the hot water heater, open the low water drain hot & cold and open the faucet valves, run the water pump and blow the lines with air are the pressure lines not pretty much empty?  Traps need a dose of antifreeze. What is the antifreeze if the lines are empty?

That is an honest question.  For 9 of the last 10 years we have used compressed air to blow out our 177 in northern Michigan where it is not uncommon to hit -25 to -30 C during the coldest part of winter in January.  We use a total of 16 oz. antifreeze for our shower and 2 sink traps and just a little on top of the toilet to keep the seal moist.  IF you were to take all the water out of the traps you would NOT need any antifreeze except for the toilet seal BUT you may regret the smell factor from the gray and black water tanks seeping into your pod all winter long.  I prefer using 1 pint antifreeze to avoid the smell.
