I am dewinterizing my RPod-179. I removed that heater anode rod. It looks corroded which being an anode that is of part it function. What should I look for to make sure it is okay? It is really coated. As long as the anode is still one piece and will not break apart, it can be reused. I wipe it down and reinstall it with a bit of teflon tape.
