After owning our 'pod for over a year, I finally saw one in the wild (never saw one on the road or in a campground).  5 pm 9/3, on I-695 north of Baltimore at Greenspring Ave.  Curious if they are a member here...

I never spotted another one in the year that I had my 'Pod, but in February, we were camping with the 'Pod at Anza Borrego Desert Park near the Salton Sea in Southern CA, when this guy on a bike excitedly aproaches me, and says, "That's the same trailer that we have!".

Turned out, it was exactly the same model (175) with the same feature set, although he had purchased his from a different dealer...  He was camping in a private RV park on the other side of town, and I never did get to see his rig.

I saw my first today, or was it yesterday?  At any rate, it was going west on I-10 somewhere between Jacksonville, FL and New Orleans, LA.  How is that for a location?!!LOL  I'm getting old and was VERY tired!

(Did you know you can put a 7' long bicycle inside an R-Pod!)

I finally saw one in a campground today.  A family just up the lane from us has a 172T.  I told them about this forum so maybe they'll drop in.

I have seen a couple on the road, but never camped.

I did see this last week on I-10 on my way home from Lafayette, LA between Laf and Lake Charles somewhere.

I got a little excited coming up on it, thinking from a distance that it was a pod, but the antenna was on the wrong side. Ying Yang

As for where the pictures came from, when clearly some one had to be driving, and you know I would never endanger the general public by trying to fumble with my cell phone while driving 70mph on the freeway to take a picture, let's just say I had a passenger take it.

I've seen two so far, the first one (that got me interested in R-Pods) was a 176T at either the state park or national park outside Huntsville TX.  The second was at a private RV park in North Platte Nebraska (?), saw that one on the way to Sturgis.

The first time my wife and I saw an R-pod was this past year in Panama City, FL during Thunderbeach Bike Rally.  That's also what got us interested.  Maybe that was somebody on here??
