So I have a 2010 Rpod 172 and I mounted a tv to the cabinet that houses the micro and frig. There is an outlet that the microwave plugs into that I would like to plug my tv into also. However, the outlet has what appears to be only one functioning plug in, the other appears to be plugged up. I haven't taken it apart to see what goes on inside the electrical box. My question is, is there only one plug because the circuit can only handle the microwave load and nothing else? I would rather not have to unplug the microwave just to be able to plug in the tv. I'm wondering if I could put in a dual plug-in outlet and not continually blow the breaker. Suggestions?

You should be fine, a TV uses a miniscule amount of current compared to the microwave.

Replaced mine and run the M/W, TV and a satellite receiver, no problems. If you don't any/enough USB outlets for phone charging, etc. now's the time to install a duplex outlet with the USB outlets.
