Well, if it is something that looks like a weird comb, it fits in a slot in the lower door shelf in your refrigerator. It stabilizes cans and other items so they don't bounce out while you are traveling. If it is something else, I have no idea.

Yes, it does look like a comb. I couldn't get it to upload from my phone.

That was good guess. When I pulled up the topic this time, I did see a picture there which wasn't there before. Okay. On the bottom door shelf there is a slot. The teeth of the "comb" point inward toward the door, slanted down. The shelf has a slot. The tab on the "comb" slides into that slot. Fully inserted, it will stay there and help keep the shelf contents stable.
