I folks, i don't have an issue or problem with my my heater. but i had to use it last Saturday night for about 10-20 min. to warm up the inside before bunk down. I was wondering, does the heater run on battery or propane or a combination of both? I was disconnected from shore power/ generator so it had to be one of the other two sources. ------------- 2011 RP172 2015 Toyota Tacoma Newfoundland, Canada |

Okay. The heater uses 12V power for the fan. It requires propane to generate the heat.

Using the heater when not connected to shore power is probably the biggest battery draw. It's hard to get more than 2 days off a single 12 volt battery in colder temperatures. ------------- 2017.5 Rp-172 2020 R-pod 195 2015 Frontier sv 4.0L 6cyl I'll be rpodding |
