Hello friends,

We are new to the forum and to the Rpod world. We are on the road for the last 4 weeks, myself, wife and two young kids (4 and 5 YO)
On the Rp189 2019.
The sofa is the most uncomfortable things since the invention of the nail bed.
Since we need both dining space and queen bed, wondering if somebody converted the area into a dinette or if there's a smarter way to arrange things.

Thanks!
Gutore.

Hello and welcome!  It sounds like you and your family are having quite an adventure. I hope you have many more and make great family memories.

Have you considered putting some sort of topper on the sofa when it is set for sleeping? We have the 179. If you think a dinette would be more comfortable, you would be mistaken. I'm not sure how the sofa converts to a bed, but none of the ones I have seen over many years would be what I could call comfortable for sleeping. Possibly for the children who would be small enough and light enough, but certainly not for an average adult.

We solved the problem for the grandkids...a tent and sleeping bags outside. You are right the couch is for sitting not sleeping.
