No plans for West trip now. How do you like using the Rdome?

Not a fan. Need a ladder to get it started in the track, guess I’m height challenged, then find it to be stuffy. Would prefer an awning.

Do you have any ideas for an awning? I found a pretty good option and it worked pretty well. Slumberjack makes a awning for trucks and SUV's, with a couple of modifications it fit on my R Pod.

We have an RDome for our 2016 179, basically new since we have only set it up once. Are you still looking for one?

I think we have decided to go with a free standing unit. Seems like there are reasons "I have only set it up once" is common.

We did decide to keep it and use it like an awning, with the sides up and the front off.
