I have used the trailer for the past three weeks and the sink fell down.   I am going to re Caulk it and add some washers to the screws to get a little more coverage of the sink. Anyone else have this problem or any other ideas for a fix?

Assuming its the undermount sink there have been tons of problems, you can do a search on the forum for a variety of fixes.

Basically, it is a poor design choice to try to hold a sink from below up into fiberboard. Screws don't hold in that stuff, and if water gets in there forget it. My recommendation is to remove the sink and drop it or another one in from above so it gets supported properly.

Got some new screws and washers - sink is back in place - I think the washers will add a little more stability.  I will keep an eye on how tight they are and tighten them when needed.  The back screw was the toughest

The problem over the long run is the particle board counter.  Fasteners don't hold well under stress and possible moisture in that stuff.  One of my winter projects will to preemptively replace our under mounted sink with a surface mount.  The hard part is finding a decent sink to fit.  Making a sink cover is pretty easy.

Also, now that you have it back in place, don't put things in the sink while you are traveling. No sense putting even more stress on those screws.

Many pod owners have solved the problem by replacing the undermount (and smaller) sink with a drop in stainless steel model.  Not so hard to do and it takes all of the worries away.
