Hello,

I picked up a 2009 R pod 172 and in the process of de-winterizing.

So when I hook up the city water everything works great, but when I try to use the fresh water, all I get is the faucet trying to spit water out with no luck.   I took the cap of the faucet & located the hot water bypass valves and turned all of them.   Still nothing.

The hot water heater bypass valves are below the dinette, it has three, one red & two blue.

Any advice would be appreciated.   I also would like to take out the bunk beds and make it into a small living room with a chair & tv .   Anyone ever do that and would it affect the integrity of the structure by doing so?

Thanks,

Scott

If it hasn't been used for awhile its probably just lost its prime. You can try switching the pump inlet from the fresh water tank over to the suction line used for pulling in antifreeze. Place that line in a couple gallon bucket full of water, turn the valve, and see if that fixes it.

First, do you have water in the potable tank? Is the valve for antifreeze suction tube, probably under the sink, closed?  Is the water heater full?  In not, you'll get nothing but air from the HW tap until it fills.

I'm kind of betting on the antifreeze valve. Let us know if you figure it out or have more questions.
