My 2015 179 had a tube under the tongue where you could store the sewer hose which worked nicely.   I assumed that feature was factory installed when I purchased it new.   I just realized my new 2020 196 doesn't have this feature.  I looked everywhere and if there is another storage area specifically for the sewer hose, I can't find it.

Should I purchase a tube and install in under the tongue similar to my 179?   I could also mount it on the to the top of the back bumper.   Thanks for any suggestions you have - stay safe out there.

If the back bumper is 4"x4" with little covers on each end, the hose should fit inside for storage.

We purchased a 5"x5" plastic fence post from Home Depot amd located it under the pod for sewage hose storage.

we also mounted a plastic box next to the fence post that holds the clear 90 degree connector.

That's where I store mine on the 195; the 196 should have the same option.

The hollow bumper is where it goes. I keep my 15 foot hose, the 90 deg elbow, 45 deg clear adapter, and the endcaps in mine. I keep the 90 degree elbow on the hose always, and It has to line up just right, but it fits perfectly.

Thanks for the replies - I suspected the bumper was where it supposed to be stored - downgrade IMO.  I'll be purchasing a tube and mounting like on my 179.  Not interested in wrestling with end caps on the 4x4 bumper (needed a screw driver to pry it off) when all I had to do before was flip a lever and swing a door open.  Besides, I need some projects right now :).   Have a great day everyone.

What I did to solve having to use a screwdriver to get the caps off the end of my 196 bumper was to drill a hole in the cap and put a circular screw in it.  works great.
