We have had reservations for several months in central Texas for the first 10 days of April.  Currently the Texas State Parks are open and these have spacious sites.  Since our pods are pretty self contained there is no need to even use the shower/restrooms at the campgrounds.  I look at it as self-sequestration although we will be out and about but avoiding crowds.

Your thoughts are much appreciated,
Thanks

To clarify we do not have the virus, which the subject line may intimate.  We will just be traveling during this time period.
Thanks

Andy,

My plan is to stay home for a bit. I'm 69 and have some respitory issues. The campgrounds are a mix of people from geographic areas and many are elder. Some are very mobile. I know TN is presently considering keeping campgrounds open. Contact in a campground is not easily avoided. Not trying to influence anybody, I just think I am at risk at home. Just going to cool my heels for a bit.

We're still planning to head up to Eisenhower State Park on Lake Texoma the middle of next week. It was originally a rally, but a lot of people have dropped out due to the virus and some of the normal activities that involve close contact, such as the podluck dinner, have been canceled. There's lots of room to sit in a circle and chat while still keeping at least 6 feet of spacing; we'll just all cook for ourselves.
