I know this is for 'Dealers' but this is a general enough experience about a manufacturer that I thought I'd throw it in here. Reviewing a tiresome story - Around 6/9 I informed Forest River of the metal fatigue problem that had resulted in my axle falling off. They never acknowledged that it was anything other than a failure of the customer to properly maintain the riser bolts, even when I told them I had pictures showing the bolts to be fine. So, on 6/22 I sent a formal request in to the warranty department asking for reimbursement, figuring that at least it would get a conversation going. Cheap - we're talking about less than $1000 because as most of us know, the failure occurred in my driveway and not at highway speeds. As of now I have heard NOTHING from them, not even an acknowledgement of my message being received. While I didn't have any problem or issues, I had questions about my 192 and contacted FR a couple of times. Each time I gor a response within hours. Clearly they have their customer service reps responding to customers over their cell phones. Very nice touch with quick response. |

Also, since it is a frame issue, Lippert makes the frames also.
