I picked up the new 195 and towed it home last night. It appeared to take about the same amount of gas to tow my 172 to the dealer (bout 1 hour 45 mins) as it did to tow the 195 back, just judging by the gas gauge. I was a little concerned that the wider camper would be more difficult to keep in the center of the lane, but, it actually seemed easier. Much easier to gauge the camper wall, than the extended tire. I did however add a rear observation camera to make my visual view much easier to manage. I don't know if I will use tow mirrors, The camera lets me see behind me better than mirrors.

Congratulations! I would like to see one in person but there is not a dealer close to me. Both of the closest ones would take over 2 hours driving to get to them. As for mirrors, I added the ones from https://www.1aauto.com/nissan-suzuki-mirror-pair-trail-ridge-tr00051/i/trmrp00051?f=1111785&y=2015 - 1A Auto that extend for towing and retract for regular use. In some states, towing mirrors are required (e.g. Vermont). I bought them for my 2010 Frontier. I gave you the link for the 2015 Frontier. They aren't cheap, but they are really nice and they make the Frontier look "grown up." Big smile

Most states require you to have mirrors which allow you to see  the lane behind the trailer 200 feet back (IOW the blind spot can't extend back farther than that) which means that the mirrors have to stick out far enough to create at least a small inward angle when you draw an imaginary line from them to the rear corners of the trailer.

Since these laws were written before fancy newfangled things like cameras I don't think those could be used legally as a substitute.

I have the rinky dink strap on mirrors, that actually do come in handy to back up. I just don't like them when driving cause they shake a little. But it will satisfy the tow mirror law I think.

I've seen the pictures including the virtual tour ones on the FR web site. I would like to see one in person though as pictures never give the feel of seeing it first hand.

Did the dealer add on the rear camera or was that an after-market purchase.  If so, which one did you buy?

My only question is how useful is the space around the bed:)

Slide-out cover? Is that standard or did you have it added?
It also looks like it comes with a different AC unit. How quiet is it?
How does the roof look? I can see much use for the ladder even if one does not go up on the roof much.

Ok, let me answer these questions.
Back-up / Observation camera was after market. Its a furrion, I had them add it. It's wireless with a 7 inch screen. It works really good.
The room around the bed has mostly been used used to store stuff so far. I had my grill and toolbag there. It's easy to just scootch forward to get out of bed. I love the bed by the way, I love that my feet never touch anything.
The slide out cover was added also. It works great.
The ac unit is not low profile, but I think it's about same noise level. I took it out this weekend but I didn't actually run the a/c, it was cool enough.
The ladder is great too. I will be up there quite often checking out the dicor seals. I went up there today before leaving the campground and swept alot of pine tree debris off.
One thing I hate is, This has an actual rear bumper.  Its actually welded right to the frame. Its not very heavy gage metal, and once again they say it's not for carrying weight. Just the spare tire is mounted on it, and it's made to carry the sewer hose.

OTOH, it is full width and will carry a decent amount of sewer hose so that is a big plus over the little one that came with our 179. Plus it is at the back and not the front. That is good also.
