I am changing out the frosted window in my 2019 180 Pod door. Replacing it with the tinted glass window with the shade built in. There are no screw holes on the interior trim piece to remove it. The directions look pretty easy to change them out if I can figure out how to remove the existing window. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Taking the Pod out this week for our 37th anniversary and would like to have that mod done before we leave. Thanks!!

Not sure about the window removal, you might try contacting FR directly. Our 179 came without a door window and I recently added one, so can attest that the installation is easy. Good luck - hard to imagine that there are no screws, are they maybe covered by a snap-on trim plate?

Most windows are installed with some sort of clamping hardware. Many with a trim strip that covers the screws or hardware that clamp outside to inside, inside trim to outside. Really not many ways to hold that window in place. Look for a removeable trim strip. Also +1 to calling FR and asking about window removal. I also installed a door window in my 2015 178 and it had clamping hardware. Good luck.

Finally figured out that I had to take a butter knife in the little slots and unhook the clips, felt like I was going to break it but didn't. Once the trim piece was out the rest was a piece of cake. Love the new window I can see out of and pull the shade for privacy. Thanks!

debspod,
Do you have a link to the site you bought the replacement window from?

I did this mod to the 172 this summer and bought my window here:

Frank was great.  Others on this site have used this company as well (it's how I found them).

One more thing..if I were doing it over I'd get a bigger window; as big as could fit.
