Our slightly used 2018 R-Pod 179 has a never-used spare tire of the exact type on the trailer. Is it good practice to rotate the spare into use?

I don't. My spare is not a D rated. I do rotate side to side annually. My wheels don't match either:)

+1 I'm not a believer in tire rotation in general because it conceals any wheel alignment issues you might have.
