I have noted some Pod's have awnings.
What size do you get and what is the weight added?
Thanks

It would be easy to make one if you could figure out a way to sew the thing. A small diameter rope, fold the tarp material over it a sew it up. Slide the rope side through the track for the screen room.

I am not getting the screen room, already have a pop-up (like stand by and let it pop forth)
screen house I take all the time. It is large enough to hold several bag chairs, bag canvas table and the dog and her bed. Has 2 sides that are "privacy screened". Have taken many a snooze in it and keeps those pesky dammits away. I am going to look through the posts and see if I can find the one that has pictures. I could not tell if it was attached to the Pod or not.

What kind of popup screen do you have? I am looking for the easiest ha. Since I believe that camping is about relaxing not working...And we have had several bad awning/ tent/screen room experiences...
Maybe I should start a post for the easiest camping supplies and let people vote?

The Brand is Playhut EZ Twist. I have not gone online to see if it is still made. I have had this one for at least 5 years.
The directions say"Please use caution when removing it from packaging" It will spring open quickly.
Now the only problem I have is getting it twisted back into the size to put it back in the net bag.
Has little stakes to tie it down, no floor. I don't see a size on it, but unless you are 6'4" it should be fine.
There is a 1-888-PLAYHUT number, if they are still in business. Also http://www.play - www.play hut.com. my sister in law wants one, will be checking to see if they are still around.

OK . I googled.
Try looking at http://www.overstock.com - www.overstock.com
Then see if putting in Deluxe Portable Screen Room w/carrying case will get you there. It is a big blue thing. They are currently out of stock, but seems they are going to get more in. There are some comments at the bottom too. As I said, it has no floor, and I note one of the comments is that it is not really easy to twist back up. If you lose hand hold on it, jump back quickly AND no children or animals in the way Let me know if you find it.

I tried that with no luck.
The only way I can get it to you is if you send your email address. I have it in my favorites, but don't know how to get it to you! Is there a private way to do this if you wish to get this information?I will check a bit later tonight, got a few things to do

I had not looked at the Pod and seen the little groove for the screen room. Now I have.
Your thought got me to thinking. As I see it one would have to pull a tiny rope that has the canvas sewn to it through the groove. Am I "seeing" it correct? That is a pretty small groove so rope and canvas have to be really small.
Anyone out there coming up with idea how to do this, fire away

You have my idea right. It WOULD have to be pretty small.

Awning bags on popups and the factory 'pod awning use a plastic piece that the material is sewn to. I'm sure if you looked around the 'net you could find a supplier for that plastic piece.

Right now I think I will just chuck it and enjoy the simplicity of my screen (not dome). Hope to find shade!
