I installed a PolyPRO-3 Cover for my 179 in December of last year and removed it yesterday in preparation for a trip.  On the upper front and back of the Pod were many light gray splotches about the size of a quarter or half dollar.  I tried soap/water and Green Works (liquid cleaner) but was unable to remove them.  I only tried on 2 spots, not all.  For those of you who may use this cover have you had a similar problem?  I had to e-mail customer service with a picture but don't have any idea about their response time.

Any help is appreciated.

I have found that almost nothing stands up to "Awesome Cleaner" from the dollar store.. If that doesn't get it, try hitting it with some cleaner wax..

Here is an update From Classic Accessories:

Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your claim.  We looked into the possible causes for the caulking around your rear window to melt and discovered that it is a fairly common issue caused by the materials used to seal windows.

When certain sealant materials are exposed to heat, they can melt and “ooze” down the side of your trailer, or in your case, transfer onto your storage cover.  For your reference, I have attached a document from a Forum on Forest River’s website, discussing the melting and other customers who have experienced the same thing that you did.

Since our cover is not at fault for the melting of your window sealant, we cannot issue a reimbursement for your repairs.

The dark spots that appeared on the exterior roof of your R-pod are from oxidation.  Oxidation occurs when your gel coat is damaged or unevenly applied.  Dirt, pollution and moisture collect in the damaged areas, resulting in dark and/or cloudy spots.  Using a cover slows evaporation and can expose these spots sooner.  For your reference, I am attaching a document that explains gel coat oxidation in greater detail.

I will be getting a full refund of the cover but not the expense to have window reseated and sealed.

Beware and do not purchase!

Well I hope I will not have the same issue, but I guess I will have to wait and see. I am not dewinterizing for about another two weeks. I do have the same cover for my 180.

Well, good luck with that.  The "oxidation" spots did come off and the back window seems to be holding up well.  It's funny but I had the rear window reset and caulked in Odtober of last year and it was in the sun from then until mid-December when I put the cover on.  So the month that it was on during winter it "oozed" caulking while under cover. Hate to see what that would do here in the summer with 100+ degree days in the desert.

I don't mean to criticize, but it seems to me Classic Accessories went above and beyond (providing a full refund) for something that is clearly not their fault. Why do you say "Beware and do not purchase"?

I just uncovered my R-Pod and had no issues at all with the cover ( classic Accessories cover ) leaving behind any spots or discolorations. So it is possible about your gel coat. I would contact FR and talk to them about the situation you are having.
