Cool  Well, we have decided on the name for our POD --- Trip-o-POD-amus.  We are wondering what others are calling theirs?

Fixed the post title.

We don't have a name.  We've considered "ladybug", partly because they were all over - in and out - during our first trip.  And it looks a little like one.  Hmmm, that might be a cool paint job.  All red with black dots all over...

Love the Trip-o-POD-amus; very clever! Our 171 is escarGOt, because we are done with the rat race and plan to move at a snail's pace from here on out.

I Love ladybugs, don't use them on everything, and when they envade my house each year I think of ways to get them to the garden. Only to find they prefer my logs.

My question.  When do you get such wonderful graphics. Is it a decal?
And this one is SO clever, that BIG spot, the window. Must turn heads and give smilesBig smile
I would love to see more of the clever paint jobs out there.
Poderfly, very clever.
The dog pound one, how do you come up with such clever thoughts. Maybe the Pod influence.
I have the Escape Pod, my children (grown) were/are Trekies, as well a I, so this fits mine.
Again, would like to know where you found these graphics.

Mountian mist. On my way to eru so I only have my phone. Search using advance to get older post on rpod nation. Search podterfly and you should find the link to the guy I used. Can't say for others.

The DOG POunD name was Craig's idea.  The dog (Panzer) is our kid and unfortunately is probably indulged too much.  I swear we partly bought the POD because of her.
I believe we purchased our decal here.  They have a lot of options.

I am unembarresed to admit that our dogs in the past AND the current one was a good part of the reason for having an RV of some kind. We do travel with her and find pet friendly motels and she loves it. She got her first visit in the Pod yesterday, still can not travel with it until 1000 miles on the Ford Edge.  However, she has staked out her spots.

Thanks for the information on the decals. I will go into the site and see what I see. Maybe for later date.

I have ordered a window-shaped mural for over the dining table.

Yizit...
Is your lady bug handpainted or a decal. If a decal, would you please direct me to the site so I can see if there is something I want for the Escape Pod. Alas, if handpainted, I don't think I would have the nerve to start on itEmbarrassed

It's neither.  It is just a photo.  I'm sure you can search the web for decals and find one.

We went with the "Paw Pod", since we are going to mainly use it to go to dog shows in. Getting a vinyl decal ordered today from Ebay to put under the rear window.

Wow, got my decal today for the Escape Pod.
I ordered the one for a boat so that I could get it larger for the back of the Pod.
Have not put it on since it is getting more humid by the minute. Early morning here is best time to even MOVEOuch
Thank you for the information on where to get the decal.
Now to find someone that does decals of "things", not just lettering.

Got my Escape Pod decal on the back today. The blue is just about the same shade as the r.pod blue.
Now waiting for a little space ship to addStar
The site recommended in previous post is a good one. I did get one that would fit on a boat, have cut off the name of my townClap Could add it later if everyone started a trend to tell where you are from.
Will get a picture of it(that I can do) and try(not so easy) to post it at sometime.

Having had a large motocoach, it was NOTHING like a POD!  I enjoyed having the large units, enjoyed camping in tents (did for 5 more years after the last motorcoach left the driveway), but decided I needed something that I could possibly handle alone since I am the one that likes to camp, not the husband. So doing research, I came across the Pod, via the teardrop trailers (wanted to stand up!). I am truely a camping nut and just need to get it out and practice since I have never pulled a trailer. Right now one can not get around very well (and being new at it) in this town. We are wall to wall people and falling off the sidewalks. I STAY HOME!
And sylviablue, POD HOLE is really great, your four peas (in a Pod) is too.
Escape Pod is from the Star Trek days, I am an old Trekker. Some of them really had the rounded look of the r.pod.

Well it seems like a "hole" or place to hole up, a comfy cozy den.  Plus we have the 171 and you sort of dive into the back bed space, the "bed hole."   Tongue
