Very nice! I have yet to deploy my R-Dome and I wonder how long it will take to set up as a canopy without windows or sides.

For the RDome, do it at home the first time. It can be a little daunting. Use some silicone lube in the Keeder rail, and it should slide easily. After you see how it works, it is a 5 minute job in the 'wild'.

i have the thule awning which works great...manual...and also bought the side panels for it. once you do it as couple of times, it is easy

Very nice indeed! Wonder how it would work with the 179 with the door-top so close to the keder rail? I'd be afraid the door would catch on the tarp.

What side panels did you buy and from where? I did not know that any were available here in the USA.
