Hello, has anyone tried to carry a scooter on the back of their rp 175?  I am interested in knowing if it can be done.  Right now, I have the spare tire mounted to the back of the camper.  Let me know your thoughts.  Also, do campgrounds let you drive your scooter (@50cc) in the park?
Thanks.
John

Some campgrounds will let you drive it, some won't.  I hope you know that you will have a weight transfer if you mount the scooter on the camper.  Take the weight of the scooter + 10% off of the trailer tongue.  You could have a little sway problem.

Sway problem or worst.  Here's a link (a bike rack broke the hitch in the back)

Totally blew my idea of a carrier/basket (like the ones you put coolers and stuff behind a SUV).  Thought is would be handy for stuff, but now maybe not so much.
