I am looking to replace the water pump in my 2014 RPOD model 178. Does anyone have a recommendation for a quite pump?  Is there a certain model I need to buy for a 2014 model 178?

Thanks in advance.

Bret

I replaced mine with the latest Sureflo direct replacement, I posted how impressed I was with the quietness, compared to the old pump that consistently filled fresh water tank. I wanted a same hook up and mounting. They make good products.

I got this one on Amazon around the time Mike replaced his I think.  Not sure it's the same model he got, but I've been very happy with it.  It is quieter and a little bit more powerful than what I had.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002XM5G70/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002XM5G70/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also got this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000N9VF6Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -   https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000N9VF6Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1.  It's theoretically a good idea but I'm not sure how much benefit it really is.

You might try adding an accumulator tank. I have the original pump, simply adding the tank made the pump operate less frequently, quieter and with less vibration. It is a less than 5 minute install. (Depending on location of your pump)
