Twice we have stayed at campgrounds with Cable service. It doesn’t seem to matter whether the Cable or Sat hookup we get nothing... ------------- Mike Bearden |

| We had that problem at Ocean Lakes. I just used my Apple TV . I’m curious to hear what said. I was told it had something to do with the antenna switch box. |

Connect to the "cable"connection outside. Turn OFF the antenna booster on the inside. Turn on the TV, go into settings. Select "cable" as your source. Perform "channel search" Enjoy. ------------- |

To watch OTA TV.. Turn on antenna booster. Turn on TV Go into settings, select antenna or OTA. Perform channel search. Enjoy. ------------- |

| Back at it again. This time I tried everything again. Neither tv would work with cable. ( no problems with programming a TV). I ran the cable into the sat connection outside and hooked the bedroom tv (189) up to the top connection (sat) . Bam it works. It makes me believe that the digital cable signal will not work with the antenna booster . Basically I had to bypass the booster in order to get the cable to work. |

It is a common mistake that the sat and cable wires are switched. So if you follow the instructions people have posted here and still not getting any cable channels you need to connect the cable coming in from the campground to the satellite connection and most times it fixes it.

| 1st thing I checked , but sat wire goes to wall connection and cable wire goes to booster curcuit board.I pulled the booster outlet. I would try to explain everything thing but it might get more confusing. They may have the booster board wired wrong, but the booster works. I’ll need to find out what cable go where on the circuit board for the booster. There’s 4 coax cables behind the wall outlet. RED is SAT, Black feeds to entrance area TV. Grey and White one goes the cable connector on outside and other goes to antenna. |
