Looking to replace the cheapo mattress in our 2018 rPod 180. Just got back from a weekend jaunt up to Morro Bay and my back and shoulder are killing me from this awful mattress. It has NO support, and feels like I'm lying directly upon the plywood.

(We had an awesome weekend at Morro Dunes private RV park. The back of the rPod was less than 300 yards to the ocean! Weather was Perfect!!!! Our four dachshunds had fun too.)

Not looking for a topper, but want to replace the entire mattress. It's a 'Short Queen'? Should I be looking at replacements from Camping World, etc, or can you find a short queen elsewhere?

Any idea on price? Does anyone have any favorite brands? My wife is not picky AT ALL and even she is complaining about this turkey so I know it's bad.

Thanks.

Search this topic.  It comes up often.  We replaced ours with a 101 inch memory foam from Amazon.  I don't recall the brand.  It was around $250 if I remember right.

The mattress problem has remained the same since we got our 177 back in March 2011.  After 3 nights it was time to get rid of the piece of junk.  Replaced with a Eurotop from Camping World, aka mattress in a roll.  Back then we purchased it for $ 300 delivered.  Just a firm and comfy now as when we purchased it back in 2011.  It does get used a minimum of 30 days/year so we have used it a fair amount.

We bought this one on Amazon. Its a Zinus Ultima Comfort Memory Foam 8 Inch Mattress, Short Queen.  We paid $129 but now it'selling now for $151. Still a good deal.  It had been $250. It's very comfortable.
