Does anyone know a part number or direct replacement for the light switch in the bathroom of a 180 or the porch switch. There is no part number stamped on it. Bathroom light which is used often seems to be getting intermittent and failing. I presume all Rpod’s use the same switches.

I do not, probably for same reason you don't. Every RV supplier sells switches and even Amazon. Find one that matches yours and replace it. Or you can call FR and ask. They can tell you what they used, I agree they are probably common.

Took the porch light apart the switch itself pops out of the cover plate and that one had writing on it. My camera could not see it well enough to read it nor my eyes. Lots of light and a magnifying glass and me admitting I am getting older it appears to be a 12 volt single on and off switch 20A 14DC 2 prong SIGMA 1B. Ordered two from EBay. We will see if I hear from FR.

Shockingly FR responded with this

40E19719A on/off switch black-$6.06
Parts 574-642-3119 opt 4 have vin available.
Just giving this out for future reference.

In my experience, the FR parts ladies are very helpful.  I've made several calls on various issues and they have always gone out of their way to help.  You just need to have the VIN ready to give them.

Good to know I have very few positive experiences anymore with vendors. Thank you.

Isn't the switch for the bathroom light different from the porch light switch? Our bathroom light switch is an "indicating" type switch that lights up when it's on. That means it will have an extra connector (3 pins instead of 2). Personally, I would like that the porch light was also an indicating type switch, but I think that would require an extra wire to be run.

In the 2017 180 both are 2 pin non indicating the only difference one is labeled on/off the other no label. It will be good to get a replacement since mine is starting to go.

We're always forgetting that we left the porch light on. That's why I would prefer the indicating type switch.

No need for an indicating switch for the bath light, the bath light being on is its own indicator. GlueGuy, you could just swap switches.Tongue I agree that would require a ground connection for the indicator light. Should be able to fish one up the wall there I would think, or maybe just pick it off the tank indicator panel.

Neither of my switches are indicating and I often forget to turn off the outside light too, anyone know the part number for the indicating switch?

Excellent point and good campground etiquette. I enjoy all the improvements and ideas I get from this forum. My unit is better than when I bought it.

The ones used for the water pump and heater have internal lighting. No reason that switch shouldn't work for the outside light as well.

The only time I ever used my "porch light," I forgot it and left it on all night.  I don't think I'll use it any more.  If I had a light on the switch to tell me it was on, I'd probably just ignore it.

Speaking of the porch light... Why isn't it over the porch?

I have my own bladder issues, but that's one reason I like having a trailer with a head.
