We have a Equalizer WDH and as I am installing it I see there is only 5.5" ground clearance from the bottom of the hitch head to the ground. It looks to low to be safe, has anyone pulled a trailer with that much ground clearance safely.     David and Danette

I would be worried pulling in and out of parking lots.  Many years ago when we had a popup we storied it at a row of garages and the sidewalk to the road had a ramped drop to it.  depending on the tow vehicle we used it would scrape and stick into the concrete.  Learned real fast to pull the popup out to the road to hook up.

Mine is the same. I have not had a problem when the trailer is hitched.
