Is the door closed?  seriously, make sure the door is "tightly" closed.  Still beeping??? might be condensation on the light switch on the right side of the fridge. the same clip that holds the door closed. You should be able to find a thread on the fix. You need to disassemble, and fill the entire space around the switch with dielectric grease to keep the moisture out.

+1 - I had this occur a couple months ago when I was in the Smokey Mountains.  There was excessive moisture in the fridge and the moisture gathered at the connection for the fridge light.  I removed the latch, dried the contacts and added dielectric grease.  No more beeps. The easy way to check it is to remove the wire to the latch.  If it stops it is probably the moisture causing it.

This is one more example of why this board is so useful.  Out here in the desert, we never have water accumulating in the fridge, so a wet switch would almost never occur, unless you spilled beer on it. Thanks for bringing up the issue.

If you closed the door and can open it by just pulling on it a little with your fingers it is not latched. To latch it, close and push on the middle of the door left side and try to open with slight pull with your fingers should stay latched. I was told the latch has no adjustment but when I took the freezer compartment out it closed and latched without pushing on the door so did not pursue any other fix.

Had this before....Also need to check the wiring running to the door switch, Pull the tape hiding the wiring in the refrigerator and fill with silicone and then retape. Keeps the water and moisture out of the switch. Never had another problem since I have done this.
