I have already did my winterization on my pod, except for the black tank flush hook up, I tried to flow antifreeze through it but it would not flow through. How do I make sure there is no water in this line. Everything else is all good.

I should mention I do not use a compressor to flush out my system.

It's a straight gravity feed to the tank.So far as I can recall, no one has ever had a issue with it freezing.

Just as a parenthesis - I assume that you have shown that it is working??

The reason I ask is that ours was installed at the factory incorrectly and never worked.

It should be a straight through hook up with a valve to prevent backflow.

Couple of comments.

Mine was also installed wrong so I relocated it to the drivers side near the blacktank. It has a one way valve in the line, that in fact did freeze last year, I'm sure because it does not gravity drain well. The reasons I chose to relocate - the factory installed valve is behind the bathroom sink, too much hassle to get to, and I never liked the flush on the curbside.

I do use compressed air and I blow out the flush line. NOW

Yes mine is factory installed and yes it is in working order, use it every time when I dump black tank. If there is a possibility of it freezing is it possible to push in the valve manually and try to send some anti-freeze through that line?

Shane, I don't think so. I do agree with Furpod it is a gravity drain, and no water should rest in it. It is inside the Pod, mine is in the shower wall below the sink.

If you want I suppose one can always hook up your air hose or pump RV antifreeze into your black water flush. Though I a cup or two of antifreeze flushed down into your black water tank I believe is all you need.
