Subject: Which model's color scheme reigns supreme?

This post is created in response to the feedback I've seen on the new 10th Anniversary color scheme of the new R-Pod. I've put all the color schemes side-by-side for comparison. Which color scheme do you own? And if you had to choose other schemes, which would you choose? |

| I just ordered a new RP176, and it will be delivered next week. Therefore I get the '19 version. I do like it, but if I had to choose other variations, in order it would be '17, '09, '11. |

Have the Blue, would have chosen the Green if given the choice. I was actually a little dissappointed when they had quit making the green by the time we were able to buy an R-pod. ------------- 2018 R-pod 180 Hood River Edition |

Rings rule in our book as well. We got a January 2011 production, the first of the serengeti pods, which is a close number 2. We still have it and plan to keep it for a long time.

As we quietly consider a new 177/8, again becoming a 3 camper household, we have discussed that they are "OK" at best. I suspect a very early mod will be a trip to Auto Trim Specialties, to get new ones made in colors like our 2011 177 had.  ------------- |

I could happily live with all of them but I so love our green. If I did have the gray one, I'd have to add some color to those rings because it looks so anemic. And I'd want a different color truck to pull it with (I'm thinking blue...). Luckily the trucks we have both look great with our green 179...since I know my guy isn't parting with his truck any time soon, and I'm sure not replacing mine. So there we are  Overall though I think FR has done a pretty good job with color selection over the years (except for the excessively brown interiors, but that's another topic). ------------- 2017 R-Pod 179 HRE (the green one) His:Ford F150 double cab 4WD; Hers/mine:Tacoma V6 double cab 4WD Still love rugged, diggin' comfy too |

I actually purchased (ordered) a green 2017. I was contacted by the dealer that they were releasing the 2017.5 changes, to blue. We were disappointed, especially without seeing it. they had the forest river rep contact me by phone, and he shared photo's, as well as telling us we got free upgrades of power tongue jack, longer sewer hose storage, 24 inch t.v., king antennae, and one or two more things, so I fell in love with the blue model lol.
