After only seeing 1 rpod all summer in northern Michigan my DW and I just saw 2 within 26 minutes. First was a blue 179 or 180 about 1 mile south of Charlevoix on US-31 pulled by a white SUV at 2:54 pm.  Next we saw one following us all the way to Eastport when we turned off US-31.  This was a 2011 or 2012 and it appeared to be a 177 pulled by a ivory colored Jeep at 3:15 pm.  If either of those match your description, then don't think we were crazy by waving at you, it was us.

The last two times we were at a camp ground there was a r-pod. We live in a small town and I was driving on a back road and there was a r-pod in someones driveway. Since 2009 they have built a lot of them and they are built to last. They are like the Volkswagen beetle back in the 60's and 70's they were everywhere.

We recently stayed in a campground near Steamboat Springs (not a big one - maybe 20 or 25 sites) and there were 5 pods!

I saw one yesterday, (saturday aug 26) green , not sure of model, It was eastbound on route 2 , at about 2:00 in fitchburg mass. Not sure if they come here. Besides the pod, I saw atleast 60 campers headed in every direction, at times 3 in a row. Was a big R.V. day

Haven't seen another R-pod all summer.  (Other than at the dealership)  Went to get our Pod at the storage lot today and 2 campers down from ours is an R-pod 180!

My publisher was trying to sell us her 182.  We thought she was asking way too much, so we declined.  Then we found one about 400 miles away and brought it home.

Then my publisher hired someone else to manage the paper.  Last week, I went by to pick up some press passes at her house on our way to go camping, so we were driving our 180.  When we pulled up, we spotted a 179 in her backyard!  Small pod world!

So my wife and I are in Deerwood Minnesota, across the street from Roth RV where we bought our 189. Seem like good folks but I think I know more about pods than they do.

Anyway we had just walked into this typical small town cafe and ordered burgers when this lady walks up to us.

"Is that YOUR R-pod"

emmm, err, which one?

"Hooked behind the jeep"

Ohhh yeah thats ours, we just bought it. Have not hauled it a mile yet.

But she was curious.

Have not seen a pod in the wild yet.

LOTS of interest from everyone who see's it.

We just got our R-Pod earlier this summer, and we've seen at least 6 others in the wild. One snuck up on me and beeped as they passed in their blue Toyota Tacoma/Tundra. We camped near two in Newport, Oregon earlier this month! While pumping gas, we had the new owner of a 2018 model envy HRE while we were making sandwiches at a gas station. He wasn't pulling his, but he sure was admiring ours!

Having a blast, so far! The PNW seems to be packed with R-Pods :D
