Hey new to group. My wife and I are about to buy a 190 which we will tow with a 2016 nissan frontier crew cab v6. Looking for ideas on what type of hitch and brake system would work best for comfort and safety. Thanks in advance. Mick

New or used and from a RV retailer? If you don't have a tow package vehicle you will have to configure you tow vehicle for that. If not equipped with an OEM brake controller you will need that, you will need a 7 pin trailer to vehicle connector and you will need a hitch and may need a WDH. Your retailer, if there is one can assist. If not plenty of advice here but you have to provide a bit more specifics before real help will come. Frontiers are a common tow vehicle.

Hey Mick. Most 6 cyl Frontiers are set up with tow package from what i've seen. If you have a hitch and 7 pin, its probably factory. If you look under the hood, right infront of the radiator should be a small tranny radiator. That should mean you have factory tow. I and many others use the Fastway E2 WDH system. Get the 600 / 6000 capacity. Many recommend the tekonsha brake controller. What ever brake controller you get, just get one that has a pendulum self adjust built in. I think most will agree with that. The frontier is a very capable tow vehicle and you will not have any problems unless you get into the rocky mountains maybe.

We use the Fastway E2 for our 190.

I have used my 2015 Frontier King Cab 4x4 V6 to tow my R179 over 30,000 miles from Boston to California, Alaska, through the Rocky Mountains, BC and The Yukon. No WDH and no sway control and no problems. I have a Primus IQ brake controller. The Frontier is a great TV.
