Hi folks! Owner of a Rpod 178 2013. Just found out that the floor underneath the vinyl is entirely wet... like soaking wet. The water infiltration source is still to be determined but it sure comes from somewhere under (no trace of water infiltration on walls or ceiling or anything above vinly). The Dealer said the only way to make it "liveable" again is to lift "the house" and redo the whole floor (6000-10 000$ CAN). Has anyone gone through this kind of repairs before?

Is the pod where you can look at it, I would be curious to see if the front floor dropped below the edge of the pod in the front. Down below the plastic diamond plate. Do you have insurance?

I would find the source of the water, and repair it. Allow the Pod to dry out. Camp.

This type of flooring can survive water infiltration. I agree. Find the problem, fix it and put a debumidifier in for a few day.

I had 3 water leak sources on our new Pod this year.

Water heater: Pex crimps on both cold and hot water lines were not crimped.

Sink: they failed to tighten the pipes.

I would double check all Pex connections.

I would check the seals around the slide and the plumbing for the Black and Grey water tanks. Check under sink to see if water is leaking there that I think would be the easiest to fix. I agree it may not be that serious and something you can fix yourself, I sure wouldn't pay the dealer what he is asking to fix it.
