I was out for the last 6 days, and on the next to last day(as it filled) i started getting a septic smell, i noticed mostly as i was going to the door on the pod. The last day, It was getting pretty strong but I thought maybe it was the vent pipe or something. As I broke down the dome, I thought that something had to be wrong. As I got everything cleared out, and removed the bottom screens, I noticed there was a drip. It was a constant, semi quick drip. I looked underneath and saw a line of "water" running down the edge of the tank, till it dripped from the lowpoint in the center. I believe it is the attachment point for the blacktank flush line. There is a piece that is attached to the tank, and a hose attached to that. I guess once the "water height got high enough, it began to leak. Anybody had this issue? I dropped it off at the dealer and told them what I think happened. I am not sure if this should be a warranty repair as its been about 18 months since i picked it up. I feel it should be, but wondered what others think. I think if your design adds an extra hole in the black tank, you should put it on top, or make sure it doesn't leak, even after a few years go by.

Well.. there have to be holes on the sides of the tank. For the drain, for the probes, and for the flush. The flush wouldn't work, nor do I think could you plumb it, through the top. I have not heard of a leak at that particular point, but it is obviously a possibility.
As far as warranty coverage, did you take or buy an extended warranty? If not, then, well no. Might a dealer choose to "good will" it? Maybe, but I sure wouldn't get in a wad if they didn't. A year long warranty is in fact, a year long.

+1, if it is the flush, the aerator is attached to the tank and then the hose to the from the garden hose input. No way it would go on top of the tank, and it's mounted to toilet side. Simple to fix. The aerator needs to be removed sealed and put back in place. I replaced my in tank aerator and the flush line due to issues with install. Easy to fix and works great.
