The exterior light on the front of our 179 will not completely turn off. I noticed last night that it is "glowing" slightly-very dim. I turned in on/off several times and it seems to work fine. However, it never completely goes out. it seems that about half of the LEDs continue to slightly glow even with the switch in the off position. I had that happen with an interior light. I ohmed out the switch and it was completely opening, letting the light stay on dimly. It worked in the ON position. I replaced the light. I could have replaced the switch, but with parts and labor it was more effective for me, to just replace the light. ------------- Mike Carter 2015 178 " I had the right to remain silent, I just didn't have the ability." |

It takes almost no current to "light" an LED.. my guess is a bad switch also. I have noticed some LED lights glow for a short period, under a minute, even when completely disconnected from power.
