Can anyone help with a link to a propane hose that connects from the quick connect on the RPOD A-frame directly to a BBQ grill or camp stove that circumvents the disposable 1 lb propane bottles? Thanks.

Lot of options, you can but a grill without a regulator or convert a grill with a regulator to use. Several stores sell hoses, Camping World and Amazon I know of. Weber makes it's own conversion kit. Google "converting a Coleman grill to low pressure" or for a quick disconnect propane hose. Tons of info, some dependent of the grill type.

There were several posts about this last year after the quick connect was introduced. At first I thought this was an excellent idea and looked into hooking up my gas grill. First you have to remove the pressure regulator from your grill as the RPOD gas line is already down pressured. Then you need to buy either a quick connect set up which contains all the parts (around $60) or you can buy three parts (the quick connect plug, a length of hose (3", 6" etc) and a connector to attach hose to grill). Again someone posted last year the actual part numbers to get it on Amazon. However we never bought it. I prefer to have a "wireless" system and position the grill far away so that the smoke does not blow on me. Using the quick connect you are locked into staying close to the POD. We buy the propane canisters whenever they go on sale for $3 each and for us they last maybe a week of grilling. On our new Keystone it came with a grill (that attaches in the rear) and quick connect hose. It is still in the box and we use our old grill with the propane canisters. I do not want to grill in the back of the RV.

Our hose is 20 feet long. It's simply a matter of buying the right hose. We would easily go through several of the one pounders a season. Considering you are paying $16 a gallon for that propane, it didn't take long for us to be paid back on the purchase..

I went to my local gas company. Told the guy what I wanted and walked 5 minutes later and $25 poorer. Took the hose home, removed the regulator on my grill and screwed in the new end fitting. Both ends of the 15 ft hose are QD.
