We just got back from 2 days with the pod at the Huron County Park on Lake Huron. The reason we were there was to finalize the sale of our sailboat which we've owned since 1992.  Also sold was the inflatable tender that went with the "mother ship." That takes us down from 6 boats to just 4, if you count the 2 kayaks.

So my question is, do I have to change my screen name now? I still have a sailing dinghy ...

I was thinking the same thing.  Stick some pontoons on it and a deck all the way around and you are all set.

Speaking about putting your R-Pod on Pontoons...a guy up here in Minnesota did exactly that a few years ago.  He took a pontoon boat and removed all of the seating and the front railing.  He would put the nose of the boat against a wide dock, lay down some steel-grated planks and back his trailer on the boat.  With the trailer lashed down with chains he kept the thing on the lake all summer and trailered to Florida in the winter. I have some photos somewhere of his rig...if I find them I will try to put them on the forum.
